Rusting, a well known example of corrosion, is the breakdown of the metal iron. The reactants of this chemical reaction are iron, water, and oxygen, and the product is hydrated iron oxide, better known as rust.
And if you think about it, trust, is like iron : strong in itself but very prone to breaking down by external reactants of lies and unfaithfulness. When trust breaks, its quite similar to rusting of relationships and integrity.
Also, it is not only about trusting others, but yourself too.
You may lie to others, but how can a person live by lying to himself ? You might be unfaithful to others, but what will you get by being unfaithful to yourself? You might have strained relations with others, but at the end of the day.. You need to live with yourself.
Learn to love yourself.
Learn to be honest to no one but you.
Your heart is like a well, your soul dwells in it. Wouldn’t it be pretty cool if you maintained that well and kept it clean?
Trust remains intact and grows even stronger when emotions are shared and let out.
Don’t let the chains holding the bucket in your well rust. Its important to draw out emotions from your well.
Change your mind, paint it red,
Galvanize your fears and what you dread.
Keep on painting, keep maintaining,
Trust is a very intimate feeling, never let it shatter
Be it yourself or with someone else,
It is pure connections that matter.
