I asked myself.

When i needed you the most,

you were not there.

When i wished you were with me,

you did not care.

When we were together,

affection decreased.

And when we grew apart

I thought,

It should have increased…

But it did not.

We became further apart

I tried to hold you,

But you turned out to be sand.

I tried to mould you and help you and care for you,

But it was no more in my hand.

Had we grown so apart?

I asked myself.

Then why did we ever meet at the first place?

I asked myself.

You don’t answer now,

I don’t ask you , but myself.

What happened that it turned out like this?

What?

I asked myself.

One day it said,

You to become a better human being,

with no dependence on others by any means.

You to become a stronger you,

So that you can tackle the world with

the heart that no one knew.

You to stand out and shine like a sun

and show others that you can be 

brighter than the previous one.

My heart had finally answered.
